This picture was inspired by a bit of the story line from the tv series Buffy the vampire slayer in season two. Namely (for those of you that watch) the story line of how Angel got his soul back as revenge from the gypsy family of a girl he tortured and killed. I saw this stock photo and that image just popped into my head... Im curently trying to incorperate it into a larger story image, but that may take away as im not quite pleased with the way its going.

The glow of the orb she is holding took about 5 mins to make and by complete accident/fluke I got what I was looking for with out any idea on how to do it. Love it when that happens.

I started fiddling with this image, putting in backgrounds and such but it just never jived. By chance I put on a blending mode and I loved the color effect especailly on her skin and the orb. Still hated the ground beneath her. So went and had fun with the blurr and smudge tool. Really liked the kinna intense feeling I get... but who knows thats me. I really liked the way the face which was already mostly obscured by the hair became so dark with the blending mode. The points not really to know who she is, just to get the feeling on how intent she is on her mission... kinna masked figure if you will.

I dunno this was my intent, i find it kinna met that... maybe Ill complete the story and feelling in the large/more complex(?) version that is to come in the near to distant future. Thanks for reading my run on babble.
